Celebrating 13,000 acres conserved

On Saturday, August 13, Northwest Connecticut Land Conservancy will celebrate its 16th annual Midsummer Party for Conservation at Maywood, the idyllic home and gardens of Leni and Peter May in Bridgewater. You are invited to cocktails and dinner in celebration of the permanent protection of 13,000 acres of natural lands and waters. The Midsummer Party is instrumental in protecting Northwest Connecticut's special places. All proceeds benefit NCLC's conservation programs. We look forward to seeing you!

Conserving Faster, Together

In the coming year, NCLC will focus on two key goals: ambitiously accelerating the pace of our land acquisition program to triple the forests, farms, and natural waters protected annually and increasing our capacity to take fast, strategic action to safeguard the region's wildlands and clean waters, now while we can. More than 90% of NCLC's annual funding comes from individuals and families. We could not do this work without the support of our caring and dedicated members.

This year, every gift made by August 1 will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $150,000 by generous donors to NCLC. If you can, we hope you will take advantage of this matching gift opportunity and enjoy a great night celebrating the essential work of safeguarding our land, air, and water.
